In July 2020, the couple Nino and Linda Steinhauser founded their own garden and landscaping company, 'Steinhauser – The Garden Designer.' Located in the idyllic Austrian town of Lienz, the Steinhauser couple takes care of the planning, construction, and maintenance of gardens of all kinds – including both individual projects for private individuals and official contracts from businesses or municipalities.

For the launch of the company, a logo and corresponding business stationery were conceptualized and developed, including business cards, letterhead, and promotional flyers to announce the company's establishment. For the online presence, a company website was created, showcasing the service portfolio, including phase descriptions, completed projects, and current seasonal work.

An identity with a personal twist

The logo consists of a symbol and a wordmark, incorporating the surname and the addition 'The Garden Designer.' The symbol abstractly represents ground tiles from a bird's-eye view, as commonly seen in modern garden layouts. The circular area signifies a tree, completing a section of a planning drawing.

The shape and arrangement of the bars depict the silhouette of the city of Lienz, where the company was founded. When viewed independently, the symbol can be flexibly used, and the geometric shapes, such as the rectangle and the circle, offer a multitude of new design possibilities.
